DESCRIPTION:We will be working on some trail tuning on the new trails being constructed at Pass Powderkeg for this trail night! Work will depend on where our contracted crew is at\, but will likely include raking\, clearing rocks\, tuning berms and jumps\, cutting roots\, and trimming branches. Work areas will be a 10-15 minute walk from the parking lot. \nMeet at the Pass Powderkeg day lodge parking lot at 6 pm. Please bring along gloves\, glasses\, good footwear\, extra layers\, food\, and water.

DESCRIPTION:This will be the first trail work evening of the year! Berma Grin has been getting some tune-ups this year\, so the plan is to continue this work to get all the berms and jumps fixed up. \nWe’ll meet at the Pass Powderkeg day lodge parking lot at 6 pm. If you can’t make it that early\, feel free to join us along the trail any time that evening\, we’ll have a few extra tools along for anyone who wants to drop in later. \nPlease bring: food\, water\, extra layers\, good footwear\, gloves\, and glasses. If you haven’t already signed a waiver\, please find the link on the main page of our website and fill one out. \nWe’ll plan on doing trail work nights every second Tuesday\, so keep an eye on the events here for more details on future volunteer opportunities!

DESCRIPTION:Ed Gregor Stewardship Day will be taking place on Saturday\, June 4! UROC will have a variety of projects for people to choose from\, with all projects taking place at the Pass Powderkeg trail network. This is a great opportunity to get involved and make some trail improvements! \nProjects we expect to have going on Saturday include: \n\nKid’s Corner maintenance / clean-up – some of the tasks here include raking the trails\, doing some work to improve berms and trail tread\, and trimming some branches.\nRe-building and repairing some wood features on Double Dirt-spresso – we’ll be carrying some wood in a short distance to re-build a ramp and making some improvements to another wood feature.\nRaking the trails at PPK – trails are always more fun when they’re freshly raked! This is a great activity for the whole family\, please bring your rake along if you’ve got one.\nBerma Grin trail repairs – we’ll be tuning up berms and jumps along the trail\n\nIf you plan to come out to any of these projects\, please bring along: water\, food\, work gloves\, glasses and good footwear. \nThere will be breakfast provided in the morning and dinner at the end of the day. If you’d like to come out for breakfast\, it will take place at 8 AM at the Blairmore Ranger Station\, 11901 19 Ave. If you can’t make it for breakfast\, feel free to just meet us a little later around 9 AM at the Pass Powderkeg day lodge parking lot. \nYou can email ridecrowsnest@gmail.com or reach out on social media if you have any questions about this event.
